SUMMARY:GEC-ESTRO Workshop
DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to invite you to the GEC-ESTRO Workshop 2026\,
  taking place on 19–20 November 2026 in Seville\, Spain.
 This year’s
  theme\, “Maximizing Brachytherapy Efficiency: Smart Workflow Solutions 
 for Success\,” reflects our collective ambition to enhance precision\, q
 uality\, and safety in modern brachytherapy while improving workflow\, spe
 ed\, and sustainability in daily clinical practice.
 Organised by the GEC
 -ESTRO Committee\, the annual workshop has become a key event for scientif
 ic exchange\, collaboration\, and strategic development across all GEC-EST
 RO working groups:

 Brachy-HERO
 BRAPHYQS
 Breast
 Gy
 nae
 Head &amp\; Neck &amp\; Skin
 UroGEC
 
 Each working group will p
 resent and analyse site-specific aspects of modern image-guided brachyther
 apy\, offering insights into the latest advancements in the field. Our int
 eractive format fosters lively discussions\, knowledge transfer\, and stro
 ng professional connections.
 Across plenary and parallel sessions\, part
 icipants will explore practical solutions to optimise workflows in gynaeco
 logical\, prostate\, breast\, GI\, and head &amp\; neck&amp\; skin brachyt
 herapy. The programme combines:

 rkflow solutions
 The GEC-ESTRO Recognition keynote lecture
 Site-specif
 ic parallel sessions led by working group experts
 A joint session with t
 he European Association of Dermato-Oncology (EADO) on strategies to treat 
 skin cancer
 Dedicated RTT/RT Nurse sessions
 A “Meet the Working Grou
 p Chairs” interactive forum
 A focus on training and education in brach
 ytherapy and provide a platform for young brachytherapy practitioners&nbsp
 \;
 
 With its dynamic and interactive format\, the workshop fosters mul
 tidisciplinary dialogue between clinicians\, physicists\, RTTs\, RT nurses
 \, researchers\, and industry partners. The focus is not only on technolog
 ical innovation\, but also on practical implementation and accelerating br
 achytherapy without compromising quality.
 In addition\, several working 
 groups will organise satellite meetings prior to the workshop. Participant
 s interested in joining these focused discussions are encouraged to contac
 t the respective working group leaders.
